Walkabout Local Rules - Mims Golf
- CART PATHS During USGA and LPGA sanctioned events, all cart paths are in play. During normal play and League play, relief is permissible.
- BALL DROPS Holes 3 and 7 have designated drop areas located in front of the Red Teeing Ground. It is the player’s option to use the drop area when playing under Rule 26 (Water Hazards).
- WATER HAZARDS Lateral Hazards are defined by red stakes and/or red lines. Absent the red markings, the hazard is defined by the high water mark or the break in the land slope, whichever is higher. Water Hazards are defined by yellow stakes and/or yellow lines. Absent the yellow markings, the hazard is defined by the high water mark or the break in the land slope, whichever is higher.
- DEFINING BOUNDS AND MARGINS The course is defined by white stakes and/or lines. Absent the markings, the ball is in play. Except when a ball has come to rest in/on known private property, it is deemed to be Out of Bounds. The roadway to the right of Hole 2 defines Out of Bounds. Fence lines to the right of Holes 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 are Out of Bounds. The area left of the water hazard on Hole 6 is Out of Bounds. Play is restricted in all Environmentally Protected Areas. Environmentally Protected Areas are identified with Green paint on top portion of Red, Yellow or White Stakes. Absent the markings, the Environmentally Protected Areas are: left of the cart path inside of 100 yards on hole 1; left of the fairway on hole 2; in front of the tee box on hole 3; right of the cart path of hole 4; right of cart path on hole 6; right of cart path on hole 17; and left of the tee box on hole 18.
- STONES IN BUNKERS Stones in bunkers are deemed to be movable obstructions (Rule 21-1 applies).
